A district Court in Japan has declared that not allowing same-sex marriages is unconstitutional. 

This is based on the fact that Japanese Constitution which says that a marriage is based on “mutual consent between persons of two sexes”.

International businesses stated that by not allowing same-sex marriages makes Japan unattractive. Japan now becomes the latest member of G7 to allow same-sex marriages.
