Italian Club AS Roma will be without Henrikh Mkhitaryan after the player got injured during their Serie A match against Lecce last weekend. Roma won the match 1-0. Mkhitaryan set up Edin Dzeko’s only goal of the match.

Midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini also got injured during the match.

The Armenian attacking midfielder complained of pain during the match and is set to take at least 3 weeks on the sidelines.

The 30 year old is on a season-long loan from Arsenal and he is set to miss AS Roma’s next 3 matches. He’ll miss AS Roma’s Europa league clash against Austrian Club Wolfsberger, and Roma’s serie A matches against Cagliari and Sampdoria.

Mkhitaryan will also miss Armenia’s Euro 2020 Qualifier matches against Liechtenstein and Finland.
