Erling Haaland will miss Dortmund’s trip to Paderborn on Sunday and Mahmoud Dahoud will miss the rest of the season.
The duo were injured in the 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
Haaland limped off in the 72nd minute while midfielder Dahoud was substituted in the 85th minute after complaining of a knock.
‘’Unfortunately, Mo Dahoud will miss the rest of the season, Erling Haaland will also be unavailable against Paderborn,’’ Said head coach Lucien Favre on Friday.
‘’We found out the day after Bayern game [about Dahoud]. He felt something and has a little problem. It’s not bad, but he can’t continue.’’
Dortmund’s defeat to Bayern Munich means they’re now 7 points behind the leaders with 6 rounds of games remaining. Hopefully, they can return to winning ways when they face bottom-placed Paderborn this weekend.
