Ryan Fraser has rejected a short-term contract extension to his contract at Bournemouth.

The Scotland international is now expected to leave the club at the end of the month when his contract expires.

The 26-year-old has been linked with moves to Spurs, Arsenal and Crystal Palace.

Fraser has played 28 of Bournemouth’s 29 games this season, scoring one goal and assisting four times.

Bournemouth said in a statement on Wednesday: ‘’Ryan Fraser has declined to sign a short-term contract extension.’’

Clubs have been negotiating contract extensions with players whose contracts are expiring so as to secure their services for the remainder of the season, which will finish beyond their deals due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bournemouth sit 18th in the Premier League table. They’ll resume their campaign on Saturday when they play Crystal Palace at home.
