Silvio Berlusconi, has died aged 86. Until his passing he was suffering from illness.
He is reported to have been suffering from Leukemia and lately he had developed a lung infection. He died on Monday 12 June.
In 2020, Silvio was admitted in hospital after he contracted Covid-19 virus. In April 2023, doctors confirmed that he was in intensive care unit for lung infections and leukaemia.
He was admitted at a Milan hospital for planned tests related to leukemia.
Forza Italy political party of Silvio Berlusconi was a member of a coalition that holds power in Italy.
Up until his death, Berlusconi was the leader of Forza Italia, this is a party he established when he enter the political arena in 1990s.
Silvio has died a billionaire with numerous businesses in media. He however lost his title as the richest man in Italy.
