Saleh Al-Arouri, 57, has been killed in a drone strike on Hamas office in Southern Beirut.

Since Israel was invaded by Hamas, at least 20,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza Strip.

Saleh is alleged to have been jailed in Israel prisons before he was released in March 2010.

Following his release, he relocated to Istanbul in Turkey from where he moved to Beirut after Israel reconciled with Turkey and resume their diplomatic relations.

At the time of his death, Saleh was serving as the spokesman for Hamas and its strategy in the war in Gaza.

Saleh was designated as a “global terrorist” in 2015 by the United States of America. A $5 million reward was issued for information on him.
