Former Liverpool and Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge has left Turkish side Trabzonspor after 8 months. He initially signed a three-year contract.

The club has terminated the contract by mutual consent.

Sturridge won the UEFA Champions League with Liverpool last season. He has also played for and Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers and Westbromwich Albion.

The 30-year-old striker had made 16 appearances for the Turkish outfit and scored 7 goals.
