Sharing is Caring

Teenage defender Nathan Ferguson has joined Crystal Palace after his contract at West Brom expired.

The England Under-20 international’s contract at the Hawthorns expired on June 30 and he did not extend it as the Baggies chased promotion to the English top-flight.

Ferguson, 19, made 21 appearances for West Brom prior to a knee injury. He has signed a three year contract with Crystal Palace.

Ferguson joined West Brom aged eight. He made his senior debut for the club in August 2019.

Ferguson told Palace official website: ‘’I do appreciate the attention and I appreciate the hierarchy wanting me to be here.

‘’It’s great to be here and to be wanted as well.

‘’For any young player that’s leaving home, it’ll be very tough. But I’m willing to make sacrifices for the game that I’ve been playing since I was very young.’’
