Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has set a new record after scoring in Saturday’s Serie A clash with Hellas Verona.

Last week, Ronaldo became the first Juventus player since David Trezeguet in 2005 to score in nine matches in a row in the Italian Serie A.

The 35-year old made history by becoming their first player to score in 10 consecutive Serie A games.

The Portugal international opened the scoring in Verona giving Juventus 1-0 lead at the break. Juventus lost the game 2-1 at full-time.

The forward has now scored 20 times in the Serie A in 2019/2020 season and 23 in all competitions.
