Morocco’s football federation (FRMF) will resume it’s domestic football season once its allowed to do so by the government.

Football in Morocco has been suspended since 14th March because of the coronavirus pandemic.

A committee has been formed to ‘’study realistic solutions for the resumption of football activity in the kingdom.’’

FRMF issued a statement:’’The commission will start its work and meetings today with the aim of developing a global vision in respect of technical aspects and health measures in football practice,’’

‘’The recovery will depend on the green light from the public authorities.’’

In Thursday’s video conference, FRMF president Fouzi Lekjaa sid the federation is programming games to be played behind closed doors in coordination with public authorities.

Due to increase in Covid-19 in the country, Morocco government had initially extended the country’s state of emergency until 20th May.
