Sharing is Caring

Recently China reported that they have 2.6 doctors per 1,000 people. Now the World Health Organization has indicated that half of China’s doctors do not have bachelors degree qualifications.

In comparison, the World Bank Group (WBG) has reported that Kenya had 0.2 doctors per 1,000 Kenyans in 2014.

Some countries such as Qatar have 77.4 doctors per 1,000 citizens. Monaco has 71.7 doctors per 1,000. Cuba has 67.2 doctors per 1,000 people.

Shockingly, the global figures are depressing because there are approximately  1.13 doctors per 1,000 people.

I see there is need to train more doctors and other healthcare personnel in most countries.
