Champions League draw
The UEFA Champions League Group stages draw will take place today in Monaco, France as from 1900HRS (East African Time). The qualification play-offs for the Champions league ended yesterday with Apoel Nicosia, LASK, CFR Cluj, Fc Krasnodar, Young Boys and Rosenborg getting eliminated.

- The 26 teams given direct entry to the group stage under the Competitive system introduced in 2018/2019 are joined by 6 winners of the play off ties.
- The teams are drawn into four seeding pots. Pot 1 consists of the defending champions, The UEFA Europa league winners and the champions of the six highest-ranked nations.
- Pot 2 to 4 are determined by the club coefficient rankings
- No team can play a group from the same associations and based on the decisions taken by the UEFA executive committee, football clubs from Russia and Ukraine must not be drawn in the same group.
- In case of organizations with two or more representatives, clubs will be paired in order to split their matches between Tuesday and Wednesday.
- The todays draw will also establish the groups for the UEFA Champions league path of the UEFA Youth League.
