Goalkeeper Ben Foster has agreed a new two-year contract with Watford.

The 37-year-old’s contract was to expire at the end of the 2019-2020 season.

The club announced his renewal on Tuesday meaning the former Manchester United and England goalkeeper will stay at Vicarage Road until 2022.

Foster is in his second stint with Watford, who he rejoined from West Bromwich Albion in 2018.

He spent two campaigns with them on loan from Manchester United earlier in his career.

Foster has played all Watford’s 29 games in the Premier League this season.

Nigel Pearson’s side sit 17th in the Premier League table and are scheduled to return to action on June 20 against Leicester City at home.
