Today, the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) held Azio la Umoja rally at Kasarani where some reliable sources indicated yesterday that they were expecting to host over 100,000 supporters but due to Covid-19 regulations, they were asked to host only 10,000. 

 

The ODM Party leader arrived in style at the stadium and made a lap around the huge stadium with his supporters in tow. 

 

From picture coming from Kasarani, the stadium was full to capacity. 

 

Maragwa MP Mary Mamaua leaves Kasarani stadium alleging that she was roughed up by security guards in plain clothes at the entrance. She threatened that she will meet them in Murang’a. 

Who attended? 

Kisii Deputy Governor and William Ruto point-man Joash Maangi was in attendance. 

 

Kabando wa Kabando, the former MP for Mukuruweini Constituency, declared that Baba Tosha. 

 

Elgeyo Marakwet Governor, Alex Tolgos was in attendance and he declared his unwavering support for Hon. Raila Odinga. 

Gideon Moi of Kenya African National Union (KANU) was in attendance. 

Chris Embarambamba, the leading gospel artist from Kisii, performed during the Azimio la Umoja rally at Kasarani. As usual his performance was full of drama, running and rolling on the stadium carpet. He left many people laughing and happy. His fans carried him and danced around the field while singing his favorite tunes.

During his speech, Raila Odinga promised that if elected he will scale out the Universal Healthcare Coverage to all counties among many others.
