Egyptian authorities believe that they’ve captured the tiger shark which attacked and killed a Russian man in Egypt.

The video of shark capture went viral on Thursday showing the animal  being brought to shore using heavy fishing nets.

Numerous boats were engaged in the capture. The Ministry of Environment confirmed the reports of shark capture. The beach on the Red Sea was closed until Sunday to make sure similar incident does not happened. 

 

The victim of the shark attack has been identified as Vladimir Popov, 23, who was seen fighting for his life as the shark attacked. 

Onlookers were helpless, they only watched the shark attack at one point his legs were suspended above water in a handstand position. Finally, the shark grabbed him by the upper torso and disappeared with him under the water surface.
