Serie A club AS Roma has launched an official Swahili Twitter Account yesterday. It becomes the first major European club to launch a Swahili Twitter Account.

A big number of the AS Roma fans requested for a Swahili account to be created after a recent tweet congratulating Eliud Kipchoge after he ran a marathon under two hours in Vienna, Austria last weekend.
The requests forced Club President Jim Pallotta respond in Swahili from his own personal twitter account that indeed the club would need to launch a Swahili twitter Account.
