Dangote sugar owns sugarcane plantations and factories across Nigeria. The Dangote Sugar Refinery PLC is the largest sugar refinery in Nigeria. The company employs over 10,000 people in Nigeria. The refinery based in Apapa is the largest in Sub Saharan Africa. The company’s main objective is to produce 1.5 metric tonnes of refined sugar every year. 

 

He also owns a fertilizer plant, Dangote refinery, salt & seasonings, petrochemicals, tomato farming, flour mills, oil & gas, exports cotton, cash nuts, energy, rice farming, automotive, Polysacks, Maritime, Logistics, mining, cocoa, banking investments, transport, textiles, real estate, ginger and sesame seeds. 

 

Aliko Dangote owns 3900 units of Shacman truck in Dangote fleet. In July, 2021 Aliko Dangote acquired 2,000 trucks, trailer, tippers and bulky tankers to boost the distribution of cement across Nigeria. In total Dangote owns a fleet of 12,000 trucks.
