Jacob Safra, one of the sons, is in charge of J. Safra Sarasin bank and Safra National Bank of New York. He is also in charge of the family’s real estate business around the world.
David Safra on the other hand controls Banco Safra in Brazil as well as Safra Group which operates real estate business in Brazil.
In March 2025, J. Safra Sarasin agreed to acquire Saxo Bank of Denmark for $1.2 billion.
In 2024 and 2025, Vicky’s children Esther and Alberto sold their shares of family business to other family members. It was not disclosed how much they received for the sale of stakes.
The late billionaire Joseph Safra had two billionaire brothers Moise Safra who died in 2014 and Edmond Safra who passed on in 1999.
