Jeffrey Soffer is a son of Donald Soffer who developed the Florida City of Aventura. Soffer worked with his sister Jackie to manage the family real estate known as Turnberry Associates for 20 years.

 

Jeffrey Soffer started his own business enterprise known as Fontainebleau Development. This enterprise was also in the real estate sector.

 

The company owns properties including the historic Fontainbleau Miami Beach which is a luxury hotel.

Donald Soffer dropped of University of Miami in the 1970s to focus on his own businesses. He developed 785 acres of marshland into Aventura in South Florida. The city is located north of Miami.

 

Jeffrey Soffer assumed leadership of the company in the 1990s. The company serves investors and partners where they have been able to outperform expectations.

 

The company has been a leader in development of golf courses, country clubs, entertainment joints, retail outlets, aviation, hospitality, gaming, yachting and luxury residential homes.

Fontainebleu Aviation

Fontainbleau Aviation was established 30 years ago.

 

Turnberry has been in the business of real estate development in United States of America for many years. The company has developed properties valued at over $10 billion. It owns properties such as JW Marriott, Aventura Mall, Sole Mia and JW Marriott Nashville. The company was established in 1967 by Donald Soffer.

 

At the time Donald Soffer and Edward  Lewis of Oxford Development purchased 785 acres of undeveloped swamp facing the Intercoastal Waterway in North Dade County.

 

The company acquired Aventura Club and changed its name to Turnberry Isle Resort & Club in 1970. The company also developed Aventura Mall.

 

Between 1990s and 2000s the company developed Turnberry Place in Las Vegas. In 2014 the company announced plans to build a 35-story luxury JW Marriott hotel in Nashville.

 

Soffer siblings divided the company assets into two separate firms in 2019. Jackie Soffer is the current Chief Executive Officer of Turnberry Associates which owns Aventura Mall, Residence Inn by Marriott, Hampton Inn, Town Center Aventura, three hotels in Aventura and another hotel in Orlando.
