I have been in the city for the last one month. Every time I spend time in town for a prolonged period of time, I return to the farm and find it difficult to catch up with the pace of working. The body needs a day or two to get used to the new routine.
On this particular day I arrived at the farm at night, ate and slept. The following day I planted the kai apples that I had purchased then headed to the maize and beans farm to do the weeding. I did not survive it for one hour. It was hard, I felt like the hot sun was squeezing life out of me.
I had to suspend the weeding activity and return to the house for a rest. I washed some clothes, watched a movie and relaxed on bed because I would not bear the change in environment.
