Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad has led to deaths of 241 people on board. Only one person survived. He is a British national who was rushed to hospital where he is being treated.
There was a bird strike after take or engine failure. Then pilot forgot to retract the landing gear which affected climb performance and the plane stalled due to lose of speed which made it impossible to save the place at an altitude of 400 feet above the ground.
The plane crashed into a doctor’s hostel kill people both inside the plane and inside the hostel.
The black box was recovered from inside the plane. This will help investigators establish the real cause of the plane crash.
The plane was from Mumbai heading to London. India plans to ground Boeing 787-8 fleet after one of the aircrafts supplied to Air India crashed near Ahmedabad airport.
