Vladimir Lisin is the chairman of NLMK Group which is in the business of manufacturing steel products.
Vladimir Lisin started his business career as an electrician in a coal mine located in Siberia. He later moved to central Russia where he worked as a steel worker.
Vladimir Lisin equally owns a port management firm known as Port One which operates in Black and Baltic Sea basins.
In 2023 he sold a company which focused on rail way operations named Freight One. Vladimir Lisin holds a doctorate degree in Economics from Siberian Metallurgical Institute.
