Kalonzo has turned down the offer he was given by former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and the Deputy President William Ruto. The two had urged the Wiper party leader to join their coalition.
They said the Azimio presidential candidate, Raila Odinga and his running mate, Martha Karua does not have good plans for him.
It was during his campaign in Narok County when Kalonzo declined the offer to Join the Kenya Kwanza coalition.
The deputy President said that Kalonzo is being lied at Azimio, since he is being given a ghost position. He also said that his contribution in the party is being undermined and its time to move out.
On the Kenya Kwanza side, Ruto promised Kalonzo a prime position only if he agrees to join hand with him.
“Not just about Kalonzo benefitting . He has been saying that I was lied to, I was sidelined. I want to ask him Pilipili usiyo kula yakuwashia nini?”Kalonzo asked.

Now Raila will tell him that he will support his bid in 2037 when he would be 100 years old,” Ruto said in a statement urging the Wiper leader to ditch Azimio.
