A man has been arrested by the Taliban for allegedly selling 130 Afghanistan women. He cheated that they would be marrying rich men. State officials stated that on Tuesday November 16 the man in question was arrested in Jawzjan province.
The Taliban provincial police chief by the name Damullah Seraj told journalists.
“We are still in our initial stages of the investigation. We hope to find out more about this case later.”
The man in question was targeting poor women who were in desperate circumstances. He told the victims that he would connect them to wealthy husbands. He moved them to a different province where they were sold as slaves. This is the way he trafficked an excess of 130 women that way.
