Zinedine Zidane claimed his 100th League win as Real Madrid manager on Saturday.

Zidane reached the milestone in Real Madrid’s 3-2 win over Real Betis at the Estadio Benito Villamarin.

It was Madrid’s first win of the season, following last week’s draw against Real Sociedad.

The Frenchman tactician, who won the La Liga in 2016-17 and 2019-20, has reached the milestone in his 147th game in the competition.

Zidane has the second-most league victories in the Los Blancos history, behind Miguel Munoz (257).

Zidane’s first win as head coach came on 9 January 2016 when his team thrashed Deportivo de La Coruna 5-0.

Since then, he has gone on to win 55 home games and 45 while away.

Zidane’s highest number of wins in a single campaign came in the 2016-17 season when he won 29 matches followed by 26 last season.

Madrid have scored 342 goals conceded 142 times under Zidane, who is in his second spell in charge of Madrid.
