Venezuela opposition leader declares himself acting president
The opposition leader in Venezuela, Juan Guaido, has declared himself the country’s acting president. Donald Trump’s regime has recognized the opposition leader as such.

President Donald Trump of the United States said that he will use “the full weight of United States economic and diplomatic power to press for the restoration of Venezuelan democracy.”
Before the swearing-in of Juan Guaido is the acting president of Venezuela, the 35-year old opposition leader met his hundreds of thousands of supporters in Caracas. According the self-declared leader, this marks the beginning of an unstoppable movement to restore democracy and the country’s independence.
