President Donald Trump has ordered the Chinese techology company ByteDance, parent company of TikTok to sell their assets in the U.S. and destroy all user data in their custody within 90 days.
The Chinese company is also facing a federal class-action lawsuit for allegedly misusing user data in the U.S. In the lawsuit, parents from various states claim that TikTok steals user data of underage users and sends it to a servers in China.
