Sharing is Caring

The host of “The Daily Show” Trevor Noah is reportedly paying his employees from his own pockets.

This was reported by the Sowetan Live. Trevor is currently hosting the show from home just like other popular broadcasters.

This is in line with Covid-19 measures such as social-distancing and staying at home.

Studio production for ‘The Daily Show’ was stopped and his crew have been put on unpaid leave. Noah decided to start paying them because he “respects them tremendously.”

The South African funnyman is able to pay them considering that the Forbes Magazine reported in 2019 that the comedian had earned $28 million. He was the 4th highest earning comedian in the world at that time.

Jimmy Fallon and Ellen DeGeneres are the other TV hosts working from home.
