Tottenham Hotspurs have completed the signing of Holland International Steven Bergwijn for a reported £27M.

The winger has penned a deal until 2025 after emerging a star player at the Netherlands Eredivisie with PSV.

Bergwijn enjoyed an impressive season last term, scoring 14 goals and assisting 12 times as PSV finished second to Ajax.

He was linked with a move away from PSV before the start of the current campaign but no transfer materialised.

However, with Spurs having lost Christian Eriksen to Serie A club Inter Milan, the club made a move to bolster their midfield with Bergwijn.

Tottenham had earlier signed Gedson Fernandes on loan from Portuguese club Benfica as they seek a top-four finish.

Spurs are currently sixth, six points behind fourth-placed Chelsea. The will face Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
