Sharing is Caring

As you may have heard, a giant container ship was stuck across the Suez Canal in Egypt. Now the canal is open after a week of struggle to release it.

The 400-meter long giant cargo ship which got stuck at the Suez Canal has been set free and now the can is open relieving the ship traffic which was piling up.

The ship is known as Ever Given. The ship flies a Panama flag. The single ship brought to an abrupt stop global trade for a nearly one week.

Suez Canal is one of the most important maritime arteries and its blockage was heard all over the globe.

The blockage left thousands of ships waiting in the Red Sea to pass through the Suez Canal.

The rescue mission included dredging the canal to set the giant 220,000 tons ship free.

The Ever Given ship was escorted by tugboats according to a video released by the Suez Canal Authority.
