Tahith Chong has penned a new two year deal at Manchester United. His initial contract was to expire at the end of the current campaign.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes that the 20-year old has a bright future ahead.

United confirmed that the winger had committed until 2022 with the option of a further year. SOlskjaer was delighted to have secured Chong’s talents.

‘’Tahith works extremely hard every day and he is constantly improving,’’ Ole told MU Website.

‘’His performances this season, whether for the first team or Under-23s, are a testament to his hard work, dedication and to his character.

‘’We are pleased with the progress he has made since he stepped up from the academy and are looking forward to continuing to develop his talent.

‘’Tahith has a great potential. Given his age, ability and work ethic, we can see that he has a bright future at Manchester United.’’

Chong joined Manchester United from Dutch side Feyenoord in 2016. He has made 10 appearances under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season.
