Sharing is Caring

The late soccer legend, Pele, is alleged to have included his ‘secret’ daughter in his will after many years of denying that she was his child.

The soccer icon had in the past refused that he was the father of Sandra Regina. This left her heart broken when she died 17 years ago.

Mail Online reported tha Pele had requested to meet her 2 sons just one day before he died at the age of 82.

Now it has been alleged that he allocated a share of his multi-million-pound estate to the duo. He also named Sandra as one of his seven children in his will.

Sandra’s two sons, Gabriel Arantes do Nascimento and Octavio Felinto Neto stated that their mother’s dream had come true.

Gabriel told the media that “I spoke to my aunts, and they said that our grandfather wanted to see us.

‘We were very excited, it was an opportunity we had been waiting for. Every family has fights and rows, ours is no different, but there are moments when union and love are more important than anything else. We are extremely happy.’

Sandra passed away in 2006 after suffering from cancer. She was born after Pele had an affair with his cleaner named Anisia Machado.

Machado tried for many years to have Pele admit he was the biological father but he never accepted even after a DNA test proved he was.

Sandra was given the right to use the name Nascimento (Pele’s other name) in 1996 after a five-year lawsuit.

Pele passed away last month after suffering from cancer. He shared his estate thought to be valued at £13 million.

The soccer legend had three children from his first marriage, twins from second marriage and two other children including Sandra from other extra-marital affairs.

In 1966 Pele married his first wife, Rosemeri dos Reis Cholbi and they had two daughters and one son together. This marriage ended in 1982 and Pele moved on to a TV presenter Xuxa who was just 17 years old at the time they began dating.

However, in 1994 Pele married a gospel singer, Assiria Lemos Seixas who gave birth to twins in 1996.
