Rwandans caught breaking curfew or not wearing face masks are sent into stadiums for night lectures on coronavirus.

The nationwide night curfew starts at 9pm.

Over 70,000 people have been accused of ignoring the night curfew or rules on mandatory wearing of face masks.

The lectures are conducted under the watch of armed guards and they wrap up at around dawn. All those who attend are sent home with orders to quarantine themselves.

Rwanda has recorded just over 2,000 coronavirus cases with less than 900 active infections.

Over 280,000 tests have been conducted in the nation of about 12.5 Million people.
