Sharing is Caring

Rwanda recorded 200 coronavirus cases on Sunday, the highest number in a day since it recorded its first case in March.

The country has now recorded over 3,000 cases, with 1,000 of them reported in the last 14 days.

The virus has also claimed 12 lives.

Most cases are reported around the capital, Kigali.

Two biggest markets in the capital were shut down last week to minimise the spread of the deadly virus.

Rwanda imposed a lockdown in March after the first case was confirmed.

Tourism activities have already resumed. However, schools remain closed and sporting activities remain banned.
