Crystal Palace have announced that manager Roy Hodgson has signed a one year contract extension at the club.

Hodgson’s current deal was to expire at the end of the current season but he and Palace have reached an agreement for another year.

The extension takes his managerial career beyond 44 years.

The 72-year old former England manager has been at Selhurst Park since 2017 after he replaced Frank de Boer when the club lost their opening four matches of the season without scoring any goal.

Crystal Palace sit 12th in the Premier League Table and they’ll play Watford FC in the Premier League on Saturday.
