Italian Club AS Roma have turned down a chance to sign Jack Rodwell. Jack Rodwell had already passed his medical las weekend.
Roma were keen to bolster their midfield options after losing a majority of their midfield players to injury. Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Bryan Cristante, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Amadou Diawara have been sidelined due to injuries.
This means Jack Rodwell remains without a club since he left Championship Club Blackburn Rovers at the end of last season.
