Rabar Arezki

Rabah Arezki is currently Chief Economist in charge of Middle East as well as North Africa Region for the World Bank Group. He is also a senior fellow at John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. 

Previously, he was the Chief of the Commodities Unit in the Research Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). 

At the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) Rabar Arezki serves as a resource person.

His articles have been published on the Economist, the New Yorker, the Financial Times, the New York Times, Project Syndicate, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post. 

Rabah Arezki earned his M.A. from University of Paris and M.S. from Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et del and PhD in Economics from the European Institute.
