Sharing is Caring

Prof. Friedrich Nietzsche was a German philosopher, philologist and cultural critic.

In 1888 he became insane and this shocked his readers. He was troubled by health problems throughout his life.

He wrote a lot of poetry, philosophy, fiction and cultural criticism. He liked using irony and aphorism in his literary work.

His literary work touched on various subjects such as music, religion, science, culture and even tragedy.

Nietzsche was a strong believer in Spartan discipline and capacity to endure as well as inflict pain for important ends.

The good professor was not a worshiper of the state. He loved to instill the most severe discipline on himself.

He engaged in bitter critique of Christianity and expressed contempt for women. He believed that “women are not, as yet capable of friendship.”
