His Excellence President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed 33 judges to serve at the Court of Appeal, Employment and Labour Relations Court and the Environment and Lands Court. The judges appointed are as listed below:

However, a section of Kenyans have expressed their concerns that President Uhuru Kenyatta was cherry-picking from the list of judges which was submitted by the Judicially Service Comission (JSC) for his appointment.
The president rejected the names of Prof. Joel Ngugi, Aggrey Muchelule, George Odunga and Weldon Korir who were recommended for the Court of Appeal.

and @jsckenya have agreed to haggle away the independence of the judiciary by letting Uhuru have his way in appointing a partial list of the 40 Judges he likes.
