Sharing is Caring

The Roman Catholic Pope Francis has for the third day cancelled the official engagements as he suffers from cold.

The last time the pope appeared in public was Wednesday of Feb 26 and he was coughing as he blew his nose. The event was ash Wednesday.

The cold is alleged to have caught up with the pontiff after he kissed the heads and touched the faces of faithful when he addressed a crowd at St. Peter’s Square. He told them that he is in solidarity with those infected and affected by coronavirus.

The Pope has never cancelled such a high number of official events during his 7-year term as the Pope.

Meanwhile the pope continues to work from his residence at Santa Marta hotel in Vatican.

Italy is one of the European countries which is currently affected by the coronavirus outbreaks. A total of 800 cases of infections has been reported in the country.
