Daily Nation has reported that police foiled a terror attack on a police post in Mandera County from suspected Al Shabaab terror group.
The terrorist targeted a telecommunication post but when they failed to bring it down, they shifted their target to Olla Police Post.
“Mandera has borne the brunt of Al-Shabaab militants due to its proximity to Somalia where the militants carry out attacks before escaping back,” reported the Daily Nation newspaper.
