Sharing is Caring

We’re planning to conduct an analysis of county budgets for five counties this week to inform the participation of indigenous peoples (IPs) and ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities in the planning and budgeting process.

This is an exciting exercise that we aim to embark on starting tomorrow morning hours.

we plan to be more proactive by looking at the available public budget documents and making recommendations going forward.

We’ll have you updated on this new adventure. As many people as possible will be invited to be part of this journey of influencing public policy in a positive way.

The counties we are targeting are as follows: Nakuru, Narok, Bungoma, Trans Nzoia, Baringo and Lamu.

The counties listed above are home to the ethnic minorities: Ogiek Mau, Ogiek Elgon, Sengwer, Endorois and Awer.
