Ligue one side Paris Saint Germain have made a 100,000 Euro donation to France Secours Populaire Charity to help in fighting COVID – 19.

 

 

The funds will support the homeless, the elderly and the children who have been affected by the virus. It will also be used to support doctors and train volunteers.

 

 

France has been hardly hit by coronavirus, with over 1300 deaths being reported.

 

 

Secours Populaire Chief Executive Officer Thierry Robert thanked Paris Saint Germain.

 

 

‘’The Secours Populaire Francais and our 80,000 volunteer coordinator/fundraisers are very grateful for the support of Paris Saint Germain.

 

 

‘’Once again, Paris St-Germain is responding to a call from our charity to help those victims of poverty and social exclusion.

 

 

‘’This support will enable Secours be able to act quickly to relieve the suffering of those victims of those most affected by the consequences of this unprecedented crisis.’’

 

 

Paris St-Germain have released a unique football shirt and hope to raise €200,000 for the Hospitals in Paris, with all the revenue going to healthcare professionals.

 

 

Paris Saint Germain are top of the French Ligue one table with 68points after 27 matches.
