NTSA Kenya withdrawn from Roads

His Exellency Uhuru Kenyatta made a major announcement today. He withdrew National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) from Kenyan roads. Traffic police are taking over the management of road traffic immediately.

Bloggers such as Cyprian Nyakundi have been calling for action on the corrupt NTSA Kenya officers. Finally, someone was listening to their demands.

Blogger Nyakundi has always insisted in hii blog abd on Twitter that NTSA Kenya is filled by corrupt officials whose only focus is on alcohol blow.

According to the Star Newspaper, 330 people died in December 2017 alone. Salgaa black spot took the lead in claiming people’s lives.

The president called upon all passengers to ensure drivers adhere to road rules to safe lives. Uhuru Kenyatta said this while addressing mourners at Maili Tatu Stadium during the burial of three bishops who lost their lives during a road accident.

The bishops Moses Ntoeruri, Philip Kubai and Stanley Karuru were each buried at their respective dioceses in Igembe Central.
