Juventus have confirmed that Miralem Pjanic did not suffer a muscle injury in Saturday’s serie A  clash with Lecce at the Stadio Via del Mare Stadium.

Miralem Pjanic has played in all of Juventus games this season and examinations that were carried out on Monday confirmed that the 29 year old is not injured.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international was substituted at 67th minute on Saturday after pulling up sharply creating fear that he was injured. He took part in a personalized gym session on Monday.

Gonzalo Higuain also undertook a gym session after a collision with Lecce goalkeeper Gabriel on Saturday. He had to leave the pitch on a stretcher at full time.

Douglas Costa and Aaron Ramsey also took part in training after injuries kept them out. Juventus are back in Serie A action on Wednesday when they face Genoa at Allianz Stadium.
