Benjamin Mendy is now being charged up to eight rape cases, adding the recent attempted rape while on police bail, and the previous seven sexual assaults.
According to reports, the offences were committed on a span of three years. Mendy has allegedly committed offences against eight women in that period.

Man City under boss Pep Guardiola, said in September 2020 that Mendy would be out of the squad due to injury.
“Manchester City can confirm that following his being charged by police today, Benjamin Mendy has been suspended pending an investigation.
“The matter is subject to a legal process and the club is therefore unable to make further comment until that process is complete.” The club said in a statement.
