Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has tested positive for the coronavirus.
The 29-year-old will self isolate for the next 10 days.
A statement published on City’s website read: ”Manchester City FC can confirm that Ilkay Gundogan has tested positive for COVID-19.
”Ilkay is now observing a 10-day period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine.
”Everyone at the Club wishes Ilkay a speedy recovery.”
Two weeks ago, City confirmed that defender Aymeric Laporte and winger Riyad Mahrez had tested positive for the virus.
