According to Twitter stories, Makori Ongechi was sacked from Citizen TV allegedly for his religious beliefs and refusing to work on Saturdays as a staunch Seventh Day Adventist (SDA).
However, other sources indicate that Makori was involved in extorting money from individuals such as the case of trying to extort money from West Pokot County Governor John Lonyangapuo.
Linus Kaikai and Joe Ageyo are been blamed for the sacking of colleagues.
Makori Ongechi's contract at Citizen TV (Royal Media Services) has been unceremoniously terminated. Joe Ageyo and Linus Kaikai will finally kill Citizen TV after killing NTV. Such a shame.
