Sharing is Caring

What is it like for black living in Japan?

Black people are very rare in Japan. Meet one Nigerian-American who is a big hit with Japanese TV. He appears on a children’s programme every single day. He agrees that it is tough for black people living in Japan although he is quick to state that Japanese are not racists. The problem is that they do not know much about blacks.

How did he do it? He has mastered Japanese language and as a result, he seamlessly switches between Japanese and English.
