Italian giants Juventus have confirmed that defender Leonardo Bonucci has extended his contract at the Turin based club until June 2024.

Bonucci has scored 17 goals in 376 games for Juventus. He initially joined Juventus from Bari in 2010 before switching to AC Milan in 2017. After a season at Milan, the 32 year old rejoined Juventus and has now penned a four and a half year contract.

Leonardo Bonucci has managed to make 95 appearances for the Italy National team.

The 32 year old has been ever present in the UEFA Champions League Campaign and Italian Serie A this season, while also taking part in Italy’s undefeated qualification campaign for Euro 2020.

He has proved to a key member of Maurizio Sarri’s team who was installed as the new Juventus manager at the start of this season following the exit of Massimiliano Allegri.

Juventus are also in talks to renew contract of goalkeeper Wojciech Szczensy and winger Juan Cuadrado.
